Episode 367 The One Thing You Should Not Do When Signing up For a SASS Service

Hey everybody, I’m Rob Cairns again and today’s Quick Tip podcast, I wanted to talk a little bit about are things you shouldn’t do when you’re setting up a login for other sites. So let me explain where this comes from. Two months ago I made a move where I took my Google account. Robert@stunningdigitalmarketing.com and I moved that e-mail hosted from Workspaces to a company called Fastmail, and I Absolutely Love fast Mail. There are privacy-based e-mail service. Best thing I did. The problem is I had used on a couple of websites and even products I pay for Google. To log in so when you go to SAAS websites, they’ll give you an option using your Microsoft login or your Google login and that became a bit of a pain and help us support I had to.

Change a couple of these. What I would suggest is don’t use Google, Facebook or any other service to log in to another website. What I would strongly recommend is to create an account. Tearing. Always, always ours. It makes it easier. And frankly, at the end of the day. It solves a lot of problems. Also if you use Google or Facebook to log in, you do know Google or Facebook is then tracking more of what you’re doing because they’re using their codes to log in. Think about that. So just a quick tip, always use your e-mail. And the secure password to log in, not Google or Facebook or any other social media site.
