Our success is your success. Today I want to talk about some of the big BIOS have gone on the last week in business. The first is the finalization finalization of the CBS Viacom merger. They’re still reunites two companies, that is put in 2006. The new company will be called Viacom, CBS will have a combined revenue of $28 billion. This merger should not be a surprise to anyone as the space is consolidating by the day. Remember Disney’s acquisition of Fox these mergers are all about building Netflix competitors in the streaming space. Story number two, I want to touch on is to chemo mobile acquisition of sprint. The only way this deal will be finalized is there for for cell phone company would materialize enter into the picture dish dish the satellite TV company has been running around buying bandwidth spectrums for cell phones for years. Not only that, but they are able to take over sprint and T mobile’s NBN o business and their sub companies as part of the deal, which would give them an instant cell phone company. Stay tuned for more on this merger. The last topic want to talk about is one in a space I know really well the WordPress space. Automatic the parent company of WordPress just purchased number this week for around $3 million from Verizon. What is surprising is not the acquisition for isin has been unloading Yahoo properties lately, flicker was already unloaded recently as well to smugmug. What was surprising it has cheap automatic acquired Tumblr for six years ago Yahoo had purchased company for $1.1 billion. All I can say is how the mighty have fallen. Now it should be added. Automatic has also agreed to keep on the 200 employees from rice network on Tumblr project as well as absorb tumblers current debt. But it’s still a bargain. The next step from axios get Tumblr out of rising ecosystem and change Tumblr to a WordPress back end. So they will fine tune the API because they’re not changing the front end at Tumblr to communicate with the WordPress back end. Stay tuned to see how this one turns out.
