Hey, everybody, Rob here again. In today’s podcast, I want to talk about WordPress, website speed. And actually, this goes for any type of website. But we’ll throw it out here. We all know that speed is a factor for SEO ranking search engine optimization. For those not sure what SEO means. That means how Google finds you, and how you do search. And we do that by what we called SEO when organic search. So the number one way you can impact your website speed, frankly, is get a good host. Many, many people actually insist on going to this cheap, how can I get a 99 cent hosts? How can I get a 299 a month host and so they don’t bother to realize that not all social are created equal. And then they say My website is slow. And they spend all this time paying an optimization expert, and they don’t get anywhere. If it were me, I would really start with OST, get a host such known for speed and then go from there. And if you do that, and get a good host, then doing more optimization things will actually help, which I’ll talk about in a later podcast probably later in the week. Four quick tips. But truly, the best way you can help yourself is get a good host and get the right type of hosting. Maybe you need something more than shared hosting. Maybe your site should be on what we call VPS or virtual private server. Or maybe it should even be on its own box. Remember, you’re in business to make money. And unfortunately or unfortunately, your hosting cost is permanent. So show you’re serious in your business and get what to program and get a real host to help you succeed.
