Show Notes

Here everyone Rob Cairns here again today’s podcast. I want to talk about one thing is a business owner. You should do going into the holidays and it’s really not that difficult. One of the things I started doing the first week of December is communicating with my clients what my holiday hours are. So I know in our case we always close the morning of December 23rd and we don’t reopen till January the 2nd. I’ve communicated to my client any emails. What? Those holidays are and not only have I communicated. I take emergency requests if a website goes down or something’s really broken, I’ll deal with that during the holidays, and I’ve also communicated to my clients what falls into that criteria and basically. Said to them, everything else waits till Jan 2nd. So the key is to be up front to communicate and to remind them as you get closer to the Christmas period and then easiest period, what your holidays are. Also go change your Google business page re Google Business profile and you’re being places profile and change the hours on there too. Your respective clients know that and I’ll also change them on my website, on my contact page. Just explaining that we are closely states. So the key is communicate your hours with your clients during the holiday period so they don’t get upset. Upset at you and they know. Going on. Rob Cairns, chief digital strategist studying digital marketing, have a great day. Bye now
