Show Summary
Show Notes
Hey Rob here again in today’s podcast, I really wanted to talk about why you shouldn’t walk. Your detractors or your negative people or people don’t like on social media. And. It’s kind of a really interesting conversation. People get emotional and they say, oh, I don’t want to talk to, I’ll just block you. For me, I wouldn’t do that. And I’ll tell you why. The first thing is you don’t know what your critics. Are saying about you. So I always have a saying, Alex told my friends close and my enemies closer. So to do that I need to know what my enemies are saying about me and if I blocked them, how do. I. Know now block and engage her two different things. I wouldn’t engage my. What I would do on a site like access, what are the people that I’m watching? That I really don’t like in a private list and call it enemies or people to watch or something. Some editors or something like that. And then. Keep an eye on what they’re saying and the other thing is if we block people we come across as a bully and act like that on social media, please show people you care. Be empathetic. Don’t tell you’re a bully. But again, if you don’t agree with people, don’t engage with them. The reality is you need to know what people are saying about you. And the other thing I would do besides keep my enemies close, is go and set up some Google alerts on your name and see if anything’s being said on the inner web. You need to protect yourself. You need to protect your brand. You need to do it now. Just some we can’t hurry and don’t watch people on social know what your enemies are saying? No. Why?
