Show Notes

Rob here again.

In today’s podcast, I want to weigh in on the Joe Rogan Spotify issue.

There’s been many people that have complained that Joe Rogan should be removed from Spotify.

He should be banned.

He should be taken off the Airways.

I humbly and respectfully disagree.

And the reason is frankly, at the end of the day, Joe Rogan is entitled to his free speech.

He’s entitled to say what he wants, as long as it is not illegal.

That is the premises that all democracy sits on and makes us different from communist countries.

Is free speech.

So Joe Scott, the right to say what he wants to say.

Whether I agree or disagree with him is another story.

Now, if you don’t agree with Joe Rogan and what he’s saying, don’t listen to him.

But the problem is controversy of figures like the rogans, the Howard Stone, Stearns, the Howard Cosell.

In his days Don Cherry in Canada.

People listen to these guys whether they like her to hate them and that just.

Amplifies ratings and amplification of ratings, amplify sponsors and why would you get rid of somebody that’s drawing your service extreme ratings.

We are entitled to free speech.

We do not need to be banning people off platforms.

What we need to do is make educated, synopsis and discussion of what they say.

And how they say it?

The more we keep crossing the line banning people, the more we get into censorship.

The more we get in the censorship, the more we become more and more like communist countries like China.

And that’s not a good idea.

The last thing we need to do is continue to censor.

So my take on it is let Joe Rogan say we once if you like him.

Don’t listen to don’t pay attention to him.

I haven’t listened to Joe Rogan episode in years and if he wants to keep doing it, let him.

Do it.

It’s the premises of what all democracy sits on, and that’s free speech.
