Hey, everybody, Rob Cairns, here again, I thought I’d jump back in and give you a little update on where I’m going with the updated a stunningdigitalmarketing.com website to Gutenberg. I’m really enjoying working on this project. And frankly, it’s a great one and be done so. So where I’m at right now is I’ve delayed it a little bit. I had some client work the last couple of weeks, and you know how that goes. And then add to it even more. The fact that I moved my podcast from anchor to casters, and the casters team shout out to them has been absolutely amazing. And I really appreciate all the support. But I ran into a few minor burpee type problems. So where those are at is they are pretty well straightened out. I think as of today, or last week. It was basically some problems with the importing of the RSS feed. And I had to spend a little more time than I wanted to, but that’s okay, long term pain for short term game. And I’m really happy about the move. So that’s all good. The problem with moving the Castro’s was I was in the process of changing my blog posts to Gutenberg box. And the embed codes are all pointing to anchor and I was already three pages in. So the issue there was had to go back and change all those embed codes of what I’ve moved to Gutenberg to Castro’s player because I want the new player on the on the blog. I’ve also had now move forward, and I’m getting somewhere with the blog posts. Speaking a box. When you’re doing a major site move redesign re update, it’s really good time to revisit your bond and see if this is the content that you still want on your book. So what I did was I’ve revisited my blog. And I’m actually removing posts and issuing 301 redirects, while redirecting from non existing pages to existing pages for those who aren’t so technical. And the reason I’m doing that is I’ve got all content that I need to remove. So I’m in that process. So that slowed down the blog side of it a little bit. I’m hoping if all goes well by the end of the weekend, or at least the end of Monday to have all the bugs side of things taken care of. Then I’m going to move to the main page and the services pages of the website. I’m going to get them updated and move to box. And once I get them moved, I’m going to change the theme and get away from Aveda. And originally I thought I was gonna go to the Astra theme. But I’ve now changed and decided I’m going with the cadence theme. And part of that being I’m already running cadence box. So I thought that would be a good idea. So that’s kind of where we’re at. I hope next week I have a little bit more free on this journey to Gutenberg, I’m actually enjoying the project and enjoying learning about box and how I can use box. frustration level for me is still very low. It’s just a time factor. And I wish sometimes I could wave a magic wand and do it. But on the other hand, I’m a bit of perfectionist so I rather do it properly. So that’s it for now. Have a great day of play and talk to y’all soon. Bye for now. Thanks for listening to the STM show. He shows the production of stunning digital marketing and all rights reserved.
