Hey everybody, Rob here again in today’s podcast I said I was going to talk about why I like podcasting so much.

It’s a really interesting topic in a really interesting story.

I’ve always been one who likes listening to things while I do other things.

So let me.

Give you a good example of that.

I go for a walk.

And I very often listening either music, a podcast, or an audiobook.

I’m an avid audible fan for that same reason.

And it’s not.

That I dislike reading. I’m actually an avid reader. I read 1/2 hour to 45 minutes every day. It’s part of my regime.

The reason I like listing these things is it helps me multitask.

So when I’m commuting across town, for example on public transport, what do I do to pass the time I listen to a podcast so I don’t think of things like commuting.

Or going for a walk or doing a house work outside.

I was doing yard work the other day.

And what did I have in my ear?

Believe it or not, one of my good friend Bob done podcasts on Doo Doo Woo.

And for me, listing the things while I do other things is a great way.

To pass the time to learn something I’m doing.

Minimalistic tasks and things like that.

As a kid growing up.

I was an avid AM radio fan.

To the point that.

I used to know when all the price giveaways were going on.

I used to know all the hosts I used to know.

What was going on in a radius sphere?

I don’t as much anymore ’cause I’ve kind of transitioned, but when you think of it, podcasting is a lot like AM right?

So I know many friends who actually listen to podcasts in their cars instead of the radio or an audiobook.

And that’s kind of where I’ve gone.

Even when I’m working.

I almost always have a podcast on before I went to record this, I was listening to one of my favorite sports shows, the Bob Mccowan Show.

And just kind of catching up and it helps in the background and for me that’s not distracting depending on what I’m doing.

So it’s a little bit about me and why I like podcasting and.
