Terms of Service For Clients

Billing

If you are on a Web Security Care plan and have billable work done, all payments are due within 5 days of billing. Any refusal to pay the bill and/or not paying within 5 business days (unless prior arrangements have been made) will result in the immediate suspension of ALL services including webhosting. This means if I host your website, it will be brought down.

Handling Non-Payment

If a website is brought down for non-payment, for the first 24 hours a message will be posted stating this website was brought down due to nonpayment. After the first 24 hours all website files will be removed from the server and a $2000 CAD restart fee will apply to have the website restored.

After 30 days of non-payment all backups to the website that has been removed will be deleted. If at any time clients use any profanity in any communication or bullying tactics their contracts will be terminated immediately with no refund. If I am hosting your website, you will have 5 days to move it to a webhost of your choice.

The client is also resonsable for all collection costs to recover any outstanding ammounts owning to Stunning Digital Marketing.

Admin Access to Website

If at any time Admin access to a website is removed for Stunning Digital Marketing, your contact will be terminated immediately without a refund.

Changes to Website

Any website changes that are made by yourself or by a 3rd party that cause issues with your website are billed at $100 CAD per hour to be fixed. This overrides any preferred rates in your contract.

Renewals

All Security Web Care plan renewals will be billed out 30 days in advance and must be received by the renewal date. Failure to pay by the renewal date will result in a suspension of service.

Credit Card Payments

Any payments made by credit cards will incur a service charge of 2.9%.

Initial Payments for Projects

All initial payments for any projects are non-refundable.

Hourly Work

Due to past issues, an estimate will be given and 50% must be paid upfront. Some exceptions may apply.

All hourly work MUST have a signed/approved estimate before the work is started.

Plugins/Themes

All security plugins and other paid plugins/Themes licenses are only effective for as long as your pay for a Security Website Care Plan. Typically, the following are the only ones included:

  1. SolidWP Security Pro
  2. SolidWP Backup
  3. Kadence Pro Theme
  4. Kadence Pro Blocks
  5. For some legacy sites Avada theme.

All other theme/Plugin licenses are the responsibility of the website owner.

Contracts

All Web Security Care plans and long-term retainers must have a signed contract. There are no exceptions to this policy. I have moved to an electronic document signing system.

Support Requests

All support requests must be emailed to robert@stunningdigitalmarketing.com . All requests will be acknowledged with 24 hours during business days. Time to resolve will depend on the complexity.

I do NOT take support requests by text message.

Project Management

All project updates will be done via a shared Notion Board. All you need to is to sign up for a free account.

Work Hours

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.

We are closed all Canadian Holidays.

Vacation days we are closed. These will be communicated to clients by email via my client only e-mail list.
