Show Notes

Hey everybody, Rob Cairns here. I’m the founder, CEO and chief creator of managing ideas at Sunning Digital Marketing. And in today’s little live and podcast, I wanna talk about something really special. Happy 20th birthday to WordPress WordPress turns. 20 on May the 27th, a couple of days from now .

And where would we all be without WordPress? I mean frankly, WordPress started off as a blogging platform and now we’re developing amazing websites with WordPress for businesses, small business, even whitehouse.gov sits on the WordPress platform. For those who didn’t know, and most developers and designers do, WordPress powers over 43% of the Internet, the worldwide web isn’t that absolutely amazing for a platform that’s started off as a blogging platform? So I just wanted to take a moment and wish WordPress and all those involved with WordPress very happy 20th birthday. Because without WordPress I don’t know where I’d be 14 years ago I started designing my agency and building my agency using WordPress, and I’ve looked at other platforms like Squarespace, Weebly, Wicks, and more. And frankly, at the end of the day it all comes back to WordPress. So it’s built my agency, which spurred my momentum into the digital marketing world. WordPress makes it easy for marketers to market. And the softer is getting better and better all the time. So I just wanted to. Jump on a quick live and say thank you to WordPress to automatic to everything they’ve done. And most of all, thank you to the community for supporting this amazing product that we’re wishing a happy 20th birthday to.

Happy birthday WordPress. Have a great day. Bye bye for now.
