Today I want to discuss a topic that matters. One that many people have and question all the time. What should I pay for Marketing Help.

The first thing I should say is that in my agency I never charge by the hour. I charge per project basis. You are paying for my expertise, my agencies expertise and the track record of my agency.

If you want to succeed you need to pay for it. Going cheap in Marketing will just get you what you pay for. This is something to think about and ponder.

Let me give you an example. I had a real estate selling million dollar homes and all he wanted to spend on Linkedin help was $200. I actually said no. No you might as why?

First off he should pay my agency for what it was worth. He would have wanted way more than I was prepared to do for $200. Secondly, these types of clients do not recognize expertise except for their own.They want to make money but do not want to pay to make that money. I really think these types of people need to think about what they are getting.

The biggest problem usually is the trust level and the fact they do not see value in what they are getting. They only see value in what they are selling.

The problem is they have tunnel vision and do not see anything except what they want to see. In today’s business environment you need to be open minded and realize that you really get what you pay for.

The other thing they need to remember is that they are an expert in their field field and they are hiring a marketing expert. If the business owner does not want to pay then they should hire a student or an unpaid intern – as my friend Todd says.

But they also need to remember this is will not be the same level of experience as if you hired an agency with a proven track record.

Remember folks you get what you pay for. You really need to think about the results you want. You can not get Boutique results while paying dollar store prices. It just not happen. The question is what is it worth to you for your business to succeed and make a profit.
